Events 4 Chess was created to support the promotion of chess and chess events throughout the United States.
Events 4 Chess is the only chess website you will ever have to visit to find events around the country. In addition to events, the site provides a news portal to stay up to date with chess news from a variety of sources, and a chess store in order to be prepared for your next event. The concept and site was created by Jonathan Shacter with feedback from organizers, tournament directors, and players.
Jonathan is an expert chess player and a United States Chess Federation (USCF) National Tournament Director. Jonathan was the 2010 recipient of the Tournament Director of the Year award presented by the USCF.
Organizers from around the country can post their events and create registration forms. Players can plan their chess event schedule for the year, and follow their favorite sponsors to ensure they maximize their chess event experience.
