Non-rated section: Open to players with no US Chess rating $15 USD initial ; $20 USD effective 09/14/2019
Kindergarten through 12th grade.  Age 18 and younger.
Schedule: Rounds 1-4: 9:00 am, 11:00 am, 12:45 pm, and 2:30 pm.
Time Control: Game in 40 minutes (per player) with a 5 second delay.
Byes: Half (1/2) point bye requests (2 maximum) are available for all rounds.
Byes must be requested prior to the start of round 2.

Description:       Rated section. 4 round Swiss System in 12-16 player groups determined by rating. Open to students grades K-12. US Chess Federation (USCF) current membership is required. US Chess Federation Annual Membership may be purchased online at the USCF website.

Non-rated section. 4 round Swiss System in one group. Open to unrated students grades K-12. USCF membership not required. This section will not be US Chess Federation rated.

                             ***Note: If you are an unrated player with current US Chess Federation membership then it is advised that you enter into the Rated Section to establish a chess rating.

Entry Fee:           $20 per player. Early $15 (by 09/13). On-site $25.

To Register:       Each player is responsible for registering online via Events4Chess, by Friday,
September 20 at 6:00 pm. (Registration close).

Equipment:        Bring chess clocks and sets, none provided.

Schedule:           Pairings posted 8:45 am. Rounds start promptly: 9:00 am, 11:00 am, 12:45 pm, and 2:30 pm.

Time Control:     Game in 40 minutes (per player) with a 5 second delay.

Awards:             Trophies to top 4 in each group. Medallions to all who score 2.5 points that do not win a trophy. Participation Certificates to all.
