Notes/Terms:	Unrated gameplay from Saturday 11 AM - 12:45 PM, limited to 8 players only. First round starts promptly at 11:05 AM, 3 rounds G/15;d/0 in Swiss system format, 4 rounds will be played if time allows. Room opens at 10:45 AM, and it's a good idea to arrive early if first time visiting. A club assistant will be on site to coordinate and help new chess players. Limited to adults and high school students grade 9 and above, although programming for younger scholastic players may be offered in the future. On-site signup possible with player name, phone number and email address, but registration fee is higher ($10) and subject to availability. No prizes awarded, just glory :) Photos/video may be taken and posted to the club website or social media accounts for outreach and marketing purposes. Inform the club assistant before gameplay to opt-out if desired. Chess clocks and boards provided. Email questions to hello@wayoftheboard.org. If unable to participate after registering, please email hello@wayoftheboard.org. As registration fee is $5, club is unable to refund fee for withdrawals. To confirm if a player was successfully registered after submitting the registration fee, check the Participants list. If the player is listed, registration was successful. Tournament results and link to event photos will be posted to https://tournaments.wayoftheboard.org. Parking: There are plenty of parking spaces in the club parking lot.
