a Unique Fast-Learning Chess Program for Children
in the Southwest U.S.

THE UNIQUE TRAINING PROGRAM IS DESIGNED BY ANJELINA BELAKOVSKAIA – A 3-TIME U.S. WOMEN’S CHESS CHAMPION, WOMAN INTERNATIONAL GRANDMASTER, WORLD CHAMPION AMONG STUDENTS (USSR TEAM) AND LEADER OF THE US OLYMPIC CHESS TEAM


TUCSON JEWISH COMMUNITY CENTER:

4 MINI-CAMPS* – 2019 AZ STATE QUALIFIERS AND CHAMPIONSHIP PREPARATION:

SUNDAYS: March 3, 17, 24 & April 7

RISING STARS (Advanced Beginners / Intermediate – Under 800)

3:00 - 5:10 pm (two 45 min interactive lectures and related activities; two snack breaks; 30 min playing time)

CHAMPIONS (Intermediate / Advanced – U1800)

4:50 - 7:00 pm (30 min playing time; two 45 min interactive lectures and related activities; two snack breaks)

*Each Camp will be different, but complementary – choose to attend as many as you wish (or can)

PREP FOR THE 2019 AZ STATE QUALIFIERS AND CHAMPIONSHIP - these 4 camps will have brand new material, specially selected to encourage rapid boost in performance. The camps will be fun, but the main focus is on improving kids’ decision making over the board, helping to avoid opening pitfalls, see tactical opportunities, select better middlegame strategies, enhance endgame techniques and qualify for and prepare for the AZ State Scholastic Chess Championships in Tucson, AZ (April 13th-14th).

Fee: $50 for any one Camp OR $90 for any two OR $125 for any three OR $150 for ALL four Camps. If you register for less than 4 Mini-Camps, please specify in the "Additional Information" the dates your child will be attending, or email me directly.
