Schedule: Rounds 1-4: 9:00 AM, 11:00 AM, 12:45 PM, and 2:30 PM.
Time Control: Game in 40 minutes (per player) with a 5 second delay.
Byes: Half (1/2) point bye requests (2 maximum) are available for all rounds.
Byes must be requested prior to the start of round 2.

Description: Open to students in Kindergarten through 12th grade.

Individual/Team format 4 round Swiss System with 6 sections:

RATED: Junior High/High School (K-12), Elementary (K-6), Primary (K-3), and Primary (K-1). NON-RATED: (K-12) & (K-3).

**This is not an elimination tournament; all players will play all rounds unless they withdraw.**

US Chess Federation (USCF) membership is required for the RATED sections. US Chess Federation Membership may be purchased online at the USCF website. (Annual membership rates range from $17 - $35.)

Entry Fee: $20 per player, Earlybird, $15 (before 11/29/19). On-site $25. To Register: Each player is responsible for registering online via Events4Chess by Friday, December 6 at 6:00 PM, Close of Registration.

Equipment: Bring chess clocks and sets, none provided.

Schedule: Check-in is not required. Please arrive by 8:30 AM to inform us of players that will not attend. Pairings will be posted at 8:45 AM. Announcements will start at 8:55 AM and play begins at 9:00 AM. Players should be seated soon after the pairings are posted.

Round times: 9:00 AM, 11:00 AM, 12:45 PM, 2:30 PM. Time Control: Game in 40 minutes (per player) with a 5 second delay.

Awards: Individual: Trophy to all who score 3.5 or more points. Medal to all who score 3 points or more and have not won another award. Ribbons to those that score 2.5 and have not won another award. Participation Certificate to all. Team: Top 3 to each section. **Team scores will be based on the top 4 scores.**
