Quads at The Hudson, 348 Dyckman Street, New York NY 10034

A live over-the-board tournament. Limited participants. Spacious playing area allows for social distancing. Face masks required.

Separate skittles area and a separate space for parents. Coffee service and snacks PLUS the Restaurant opens at 11:30 am.

The Hudson is located in beautiful Inwood Park overlooking the river. 

Limited to just 48 participants with USCF Ratings 900-1800 - Advance Registration only. First Come, First Served.

EVENT TERMS

No on-site registration: Online registration only. Check-in at Chess Control upon your arrival. Please bring a copy of your confirmation email in the event there is an error. Players must check in by 9:25 am. Clocks start at 9:30. Players arriving late will lose elapsed time.

Cancellations: No cancellations for this SPECIAL event. If your child has a last minute health problem or cannot make it for any reason, please email us as soon as possible, and no later than 9 am on the day of event: robert@nscfchess.org 

Ratings: USCF-rated. This event uses published Over-the-Board ratings.

Bring clocks and chess sets.

This event is organized as quads. We reserve to right to move players so that no more than 2 players from the same school are in the same quad section.

Prizes: Trophy to the winner of each quad.

Our General NSCF Event Terms

Supervision & Photo Release Policy: All participants under 16 must have an adult supervisor during the tournament. The NSCF does not provide supervision between games. Also note: Photography and/or video recording occurs at most NSCF tournament events. By registering your child for this event, you hereby give permission for your child's name and/or picture to appear on the NSCF website/promotion. If for any reason this is not acceptable, please advise tournament staff PRIOR to the first round of the tournament.
