This is an in-person program for students in grades 1-5 attending Rutgers Prep in Somerset, NJ.

  • Eight classes: 4/1, 4/8, 4/15, 4/22, 4/29, 5/6, 5/13, 5/20
Learn chess with Diplomat Chess! Our coaches have taught thousands of children to play, including state and national champions, but most of our students are just looking to learn a new skill and have fun. Class time is divided between interactive group lessons and practice games.  Lessons range from the basic rules to advanced tournament strategies and analysis of famous Grandmaster games. All chess equipment is provided by Diplomat Chess. All skill levels are welcome.
