| Notes/Terms: | Advanced Chess Program with FM Sunil Weeramantry Four days of special instruction for aspiring tournament players rated USCF 1000+ with FM Sunil Weeramantry. This program is especially for players who want to improve their technique and ability to calculate. Each day includes lectures exploring themes from historic and contemporary grandmaster games, group activities and playing time, and individual game analysis. Session days: Monday through Thursday, August 22 to 25. While not required, if players wish to attend the regular camp on Friday, August 26, that option is available for an additional $100. A daily box lunch and afternoon snack are included in the full time camp fee. This will be kosher and nut-aware. If you send any snacks with your child beyond what we provide, they must bear an acceptable kosher symbol on the packaging; please do not send anything with nuts. Refunds/Cancellation Policy Cancellations will be accepted up until noon on Friday in the week PRIOR to the start of your child's camp. Refunds are subject to a $35 administrative fee. Important! Please download our medical release form from the section marked Files. It will need to be completed and returned prior to your player beginning camp. COVID-19 protocols will be in place. Details will be added as the school determines its policy for the summer. Our staff are fully vaccinated. |
