Championship: Trophies to 1st - 3rd place 
Intermediate: Trophies to 1st - 5th place
Beginner: Trophies to 1st - 4th place & medals to all non-placing participants.  
Novice: Trophies to 1st - 3rd place & medals to all non-placing participants.

Notes:
  • Drop Off is available and encouraged for participants in grades 2-8.  All students in grades K-1 must have an adult supervisor present at all times.  
  • Medals awarded for all non-placing participants in the Beginner and Novice sections.  
  • Prizes will be awarded as soon as possible upon the completion of each section's fourth round.  The tournament will be completed no later than 2:30pm.  Parents of younger children the Novice and Beginners sections, please note that they will likely finish much sooner.  
  • Participants can use regular published or most current ratings for pairing and registration purposes. 
  • Rated section players in grades 2-8 are required to write notation.
  • One 1/2 point bye available for round 1 only.  Must request by the end of registration.  
  • Ample parking is available in the parking lot directly behind the building.  
  • While there is no scheduled lunch break, small snacks and drinks are available for purchase and a kitchen/microwave is available for use at the venue.  
  • Participants registered for 3 or more tournaments in the series will receive a free RBC t-shirt!  Tournament Dates: March 25th, April 29th, May 20th, June 17th

Current US Chess Federation memberships are required for participation in the Championship and Intermediate sections.  Join/renew at uschess.org.  

Cancellation Policy:

Notifications received by 8:00pm on the day prior to the event will receive a refund ($10 processing fee) or a full credit to a future event.  No refunds for cancellations after 8:00pm.

By registering for this event, you give permission for images of your child, captured during participation in RedBandit Chess LLC (RBC) programs and events through video, photo and digital camera, to be used solely for the purposes of RBC promotional material and publications, and waive any rights of compensation or ownership thereto.  RBC will never publish photos with names without permission.  Please send a request via email if you prefer no photos of your child to be taken.
