| Notes/Terms: | Wesleyan Chess Club is opening its doors for Open Club to the Connecticut chess community. All ages are welcome. Basic knowledge of the rules of the game and ability to play independently are participation requirements. WCC and CSCA will provide chess sets and some clocks. Participants are welcome to bring their own chess clocks. WCC will organize club play and other activities from meeting to meeting. The Club will meet once per week on Thursdays, 4-6 PM starting March 2 and concluding April 27. (There is NO meeting March 16 and 23.) The Club will meet on the Wesleyan University campus in Middletown, Connecticut. The precise location of club meetings will be provided to registered players ahead of the March 2 meeting. (Once registered, if you do not receive a system email, please check your spam folder for "Events4Chess" confirmation.)
