Notes/Terms: | Format: Registration will end at 3 PM on June 23. Space is limited to 40 for lecture and 20 for simul. Simul instructions will be provided at the event or in pre-event notes, distributed via email. If you miss the registration deadline and space is still available, please email events.CSCA@gmail.com to be added to register. NM Moor: One of Connecticut’s top five scholastic players, graduating New Canaan High School this month, Nathaniel is the 2021 Connecticut Denker Invitational Nominee, 2022 CSCA Scholastic Player of the Year, 2023 Connecticut Action Chess Champion and 2023 Denker Invitational Alternate. In 2022 and 2023, Nathaniel achieved many notable placements at top competitions nationally, including finishing 4th at the 2022 National Grade Championships, 12th Grade Section. Presently rated 2284 and peaking at 2301 at the Connecticut Hall of Fame Action Championship in May, Nathaniel is coach and instructor at Chess Max Academy in Greenwich. In September, Nathaniel will begin collegiate studies at Webster University in St. Louis. Entry Fees: Lecture fee is $10. Simul entry is $30. Online registration only. NO on site registration.
