| Notes/Terms: | Registration: Closes on Friday, June 7th 9:00 pm. There is NO ON-SITE REGISTRATION for this event. Please bring a copy of your confirmation email in the event there is an error. **USCF-rated, except where noted. Chess sets and clocks are provided for all sections. Ratings: Rated sections use published rating. Unrated sections: These sections are designed to introduce beginning chess players to competition. No US Chess membership is required. If a player has some rated experience, the maximum allowable rating is 300. If a player with a rating (300, or below) chooses to play in an unrated section, the tournament organizer still reserves the right to review the player's tournament history and move the player into a rated section. This decision may not be appealed. Prizes: Trophies to top 5 in each round sections. Changes: If you need to change sections, or for any other assistance, email artem.kunisky@lps-students.org REFUNDS/CANCELLATION POLICY: If your child cannot play in this event, you may withdraw by email no later than the end of registration (9:00 pm the Friday before the event). Please email us at artem.kunisky@lps-students.org. Refunds are subject to a $10 fee which covers administrative and credit card processing charges. There will be no refunds or credits given for withdrawals after the close of registration. Refunds must be requested by email; no telephone withdrawals or refund requests. To request a refund, email adrian@livingwithchess.com prior to the tournament. Refunds will be will be processed within 7 days after the tournament. Photo Release Policy: Photography and/or video recording will occur at the tournament. By registering your child for this event, you hereby give permission for your child's name and/or picture to appear on the LHS Chess Club's social media account and sponsor (Living with Chess) website/promotion. If for any reason this is not acceptable, please advise tournament staff PRIOR to the first round of the tournament. |
