| Notes/Terms: | Grandmaster Mac Molner is leading a chess camp at Dwight-Englewood School!Campers of all grade levels are welcome. Kindergartners should have previous chess experience and be familiar with all piece movements and rules. Students will learn chess through a variety of fun activities. Every day will have planned lessons, different types of games like bughouse, speed chess, and many more. We will also have prize activities like chess jeopardy, solitaire chess, and more. Throughout the camp day, there will be breaks to go outside, have fun, and get some energy out. There will be lunch options and snacks provided. Dates: June 23rd-27th Sample Daily Schedule: 9:00am - Arrival/Drop off and Free play 9:30: Group Lesson/Instruction 10am: Worksheets and Puzzle Practice 10:30am: Outside time and games 11:15: Free play with special types of chess. Bughouse, Blitz chess, etc. 12pm: Lunch 12:45pm: Instruction 1:30pm: Outdoor Activity 2pm: Chess Trivia/Chess Jeopardy 2:45pm: Free play 3pm: Camper Pickup Camp Fees: Registration costs $650 until May 1st, after which it will be $750. Sibling discount: There is a 10% sibling discount. You can use the code Sibling at checkout to apply it. Cancellation Policy: Full refunds minus a $25 dollar administration fee will be available until May 15th. Subsequently, there will a 50% refund available until the start of the camp.
