[THIS IS A CSCA GRAND PRIX EVENT WITH CTGP POINTS FOR OPEN, U2000 AND U1400 RATING CATEGORIES. The CTGP is an OPEN competition with no residency restrictions and $3,500 in Prizes. Participating players must (1) be CSCA Premium Members, (2) register for the CTGP, and (3) participate in CTGP events to collect CTGP points. CTGP events may be organized within and without Connecticut.] Sec/Rds/TC/Byes: Open, U2000, U1400, U800, NER; 4 Rounds SS, G/30+10; NE- and USCF-rated, NER NE-rated only; One ½ pt bye in Rd 1-3; ½ pt Rd 1 bye for entry after 9 AM. Grand Prix: NEW! 20 Level 2 CSCA Grand Prix Points in Open, U2000 and U1400. Prizes: Open: $300-200, $100 to Top U2200. U2000: $200-100, $100 to Top U1600. U1400/U800/NER: Trophies to Top 3, Top U1100 and U900 in U1400, U500 and U300 in U800. Trophies to Open/U2000 winners. Cash prizes via PayPal. Tiebreak: For 4-0 ties: a) G/10+3 game; if drawn, b) G/3+2 game; if drawn, c) G/5/4+2 game. Seeding/color by USCF tiebreaks. No effect on money prizes.
